Interesting facts about the streets in Barcelona

Visiting Barcelona it is a lot of fun for the tourist, as they get to see lots of things.
Before getting to this country, you need to find Barcelona accommodation.
You have a wide variety of hotels and Barcelona apartments that you can choose from.
Most tourists prefer hotels, but lately there is a tendency for choosing a nice Barcelona apartment.
Not many of us know that in the beginning, the streets in this city did not have any name.
The old house had no signs on them to be identified; only the mansions of the nobility had shields on the main entrance wall, and some of them still live like this until these days.
A very interesting and curios place to visit will be the Footwear Museum in the Sant Felip Neri Square, where it used to be the home of the Guild of Shoemakers. Nowadays we can see there between the windows from the front entrance of the Museum relief carvings of shoes and a lion. The animal represents Saint Mark, the patron saint of shoemakers.
Later on, in the early 19th century, the city expanded so more streets were created. Some names of the streets were chosen by the owners of the land where they bought the house.
The streets from the Eixample district were names by the Catalan politician Victor Balaguer, who chose to use the conquest of Jaume 1 from the 13th century.

Best summer

Summer holidays are in general tourist s favorites. Sure there are a lot that prefer winter holidays because they practice season sports or for any other reason.
But summer is the time of year when we usually take our longer holidays without work, when children do not go to school, nor students go to the university. That is how people have more time to enjoy different activities that they like practicing, such as tourism. Spain is a country that has so many natural recourses and so many extraordinary places that at the time of choosing our destination we could find it a little difficult.
Costa Blanca cities are very appreciated by tourists thanks to the beautiful beaches with white sand and blue water.
Also, beaches on the ocean cost have a lot of success during summer. So, in the situation that we stay at a torrevieja hotel, an altea hotel or a Benidorm Hotel, we will have the possibility to enjoy one of the holidays we had been dreaming of: relaxing, staying in the sun, swimming in the warm water of the Mediterranean sea, visiting the beautiful cities and going out in the night.

In Ibiza

The Balearic Islands with the famous Ibiza is one of the most visited places on Earth, due to its summer club parties.
The main cities in Ibiza are Ibiza Town , Santa Eularia des Riu, and Sant Antoni de Portmany.

The capital of the island is called Vila D`Eivissa and has the old part and the more modern part of the town.
The main attractions in Ibiza Town are the cathedral of Santa Maria d´Eivissa and the Punci necropolis of Puig des Molins.
You cannot miss having a cocktail and watch the sunset at Cafe del Mar.

Sommer-Reisen

Wir freuen uns sehr nahe, wie im Sommer erwartet, während alle Feiertage.
Wie jedes Jahr werden viele von uns tun, unsere Taschen, Tickets und gehen auf den Balearen oder Kanarischen Inseln, denn wir werden von den Städten als gebundene Liebe getrennt.

The main attractions in Port Aventura Park

Holidays are at our doorstep. If we did not yet buy the travel tickets for our family, now is the time as we have one month left till summer begins.
The kids love the theme parks so one option will be to go to Tarragona, in Spain.
Port Aventura is a resort in Salou about one hour drive from Barcelona, so you can easily get Barcelona accommodation or you prefer, look for a nice place in one of the hotels salou spain.
Being the biggest resort in the south of Europe, it has lots of visitors annually.
There are various areas in this wonderful park.
The first area is the Mediterrania. It has two rides, restaurants, shops and they reproduce a typical town from Catalonia.
If you go in July or August you get to see the FiestAventura, an incredible show with fireworks and floats.
The ride Furios Baco is the fastest roller coaster from Europe.
The next are is the Far West, copying a Wild West town.
This is the biggest are in this park with 9 attractions.
You can enjoy the Stampida wooden roller coaster the Grand Canyon Rapids whitewater rub raft with water cannons.
The Mexico area is even more thrilling
We can find here one of the tallest rides in the world, Hurakan Condor, the Temple of Fire, inspired by the movie Indiana Jones with a nice show of pyrotechnics and the Tren de la Mina with various tunnels.
China is one of the biggest theme areas of Port Aventura Park with two rides.
The ride Dragon Khan is the one with the most inversions of any roller coaster in the world.
Other rides are the Cobra Imperial, Tea Cups and Fumanchu.
The Polynesia area has only 2 shows
Besides the Tutuki splash, it has the Sea Odyssey, an unique ride that takes you through a dynamic cinema themed as a submarine, a 4D incredible experience.
The last area is the park themed to the Sesame Street characters .
This is the only park in Europe that has these characters and eleven rides. This area has 11 rides, all for kids: CocoPiloto, Tami-Tami, Magic Fish, etc.

Summer it is on our doorstep so we already think about relaxing on the beach, breathing some fresh air outside the city and just enjoying our holidays with our loved ones.
If we decided for Spain we might consider to start with San Sebastian, in the north of the country, where the weather is not as hot as in Costa del Sol so we can fully enjoy the nice summer.

One of the most visited cities in Spain is nonetheless Barcelona, even though it is not the capital.
No matter what our purpose is when we go to Spain, we make sure to enjoy it.
If we travel for a simple holiday to Spain and look for Barcelona apartments we might take the option or renting an apartment Barcelona, as is the way to fully enjoy our stay.

Summer is almost here and everybody is starting to think about summer holidays. Travel offers are very diverse meaning that if we do not have a clear idea already about a place we would like to visit this summer, it may be a little difficult to decide the best alternative.
There exist a lot of beautiful places in Spain where we can enjoy unforgettable holidays, relax and enjoy the sun and the blue and clear sea and have fun in the touristic cities on the beach. After choosing the destination of our trip we need to think about accommodation. There are some people that would rather go directly and look for a hotel right there, but, in the majority of the situations, for avoiding unpredicted situations, tourists tend to search and reserve a place to accommodate before arriving.
